Natasha Lyonne Pays Tribute To Paul Reubens After Getting Her Start On 'Pee-wee's Playhouse'

The actor, who got started in showbiz as a child actor on Reubens' beloved series, shared some sweet throwback photos of their times together.

Natasha Lyonne paid a lovely tribute to Paul Reubens following his passing on July 30.

Lyonne—who actually got her start in the business as a child actor on Reubens' Pee-wee's Playhouse—shared some throwback photos of the two together on the set of the beloved series.


Accompanying the photos, she wrote:

"Love you so much, Paul."
"One in all time."
"Thank you for my career and your forever friendship all these years and for teaching us what a true original is."

Viewers of the actor's tribute shared their sorrow as well.











Many also sent their condolences to Lyonne who remained close with Reubens throughout the years.




Reubens' death was announced on Monday accompanying a posthumous note revealing he had been battling cancer for the last six years.

Reubens' had written:

"Please accept my apology for not going public with what I've been facing the last six years."
"I have always felt a huge amount of love and respect from my friends, fans, and supporters. I have loved you all so much and enjoyed making art for you."
