After Joe Biden announced he would be using an all-female senior communications staff when he becomes President of the United States, current Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany took to Twitter to falsely claim President Donald Trump had already done the same.
Of course, it was incredibly easy to debunk McEnany's claim.
McEnany's tweet was so obviously false, many wondered why she even bothered.
If there has been one constant from all of President Trump's press secretaries, it's been their shameless dishonesty.
It's hard to think of even a single reasonable explanation for McEnany "forgetting" her male counterparts.
One can only hope America's next press secretary is a bit more consistent with the facts.
Donald Trump is soon leaving office, taking Kayleigh McEnany with him, which will be welcome news for anyone who believes the truth is more important than random attacks on Twitter.
