Some of us love nature.

Some of us don't love nature all that much either.

We prefer it stays in its place.

An alligator walking down a busy city street is not our idea of a good time, thank you very much.

But we know that's exactly what happened in Fort Myers, Florida thanks to Chelsea Brinson, who took a video showing just that. The alligator strolled down McGregor Boulevard.

It is mating season and alligators are known to walk long distances in search of other bodies of water... or love at first sight.

Watch the video here.

The photo, which appears to have been taken during or around a school assembly in the school's gym, has the Cabrillo mascot named "Jaguar" in the background and a group of students with letters on their shirts that they have rearranged to read the N-word, which also was spelled incorrectly.
