After Over 60 Years, Kleenex Is Finally Changing The Name Of 'Man Size' Tissues

In age where people are trying to take steps towards equality, Kimberly-Clark, the parent company of Kleenex, is re-branding its "Mansize" tissues being sold in the United Kingdom.


The larger tissues were introduced in 1956, but after a complaint on Twitter, the company has rethought the name and will now simply call the tissues "Extra-Large."

In a statement Kimberely-Clark said:

"We are always grateful to customers who take time to tell us how our products can be improved, and we carefully consider all suggestions," the company said in a statement."



Many people were upset by the change and felt the complaint was overly sensitive.



Some directed their dissatisfaction at the original poster.
