CNN Reporter Perfectly Calls Out Kayleigh McEnany to Her Face for Spreading Disinformation 'Every Day'

On her first day as White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany vowed to the White House press corps that she would never lie to them.

She failed to keep that promise not only in that very first briefing, but for virtually every briefing after.

McEnany falsely defended the President's bogus claim that the virus, which has killed over 300 thousand Americans, "affects virtually nobody." She falsely claimed the Mueller report—which investigated Russian meddling in the 2016 election and the Trump campaign's ties to it—resulted in a complete and total exoneration of the President. McEnany also absurdly said that the President never publicly downplayed the virus.

Even now, McEnany continues to repeat the President's lies about widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats tipping the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden.

All the while, McEnany echoes the President's smears of reporters and the "fake news media" to whom McEnany answers. She's called reporters "activists" and accused them of wanting to shut down religious services.

So at a Tuesday press briefing, when McEnany accused reporters of amplifying disinformation, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta shouted a pointed question as the press secretary left the briefing room.

Watch below.

Acosta said:

"Kayleigh, isn't it hypocritical for you to accuse others of disinformation when you spread it every day?"

McEnany didn't answer his question, but Twitter users still applauded Acosta for asking it.

As of Tuesday, McEnany has only 36 days left as White House press secretary, but the criticisms of her job performance aren't subsiding.

Just before the briefing's conclusion, McEnany falsely said there's a chance of a "continuation of power"—or a second Trump term.
