Hilary Duff's fans are coming out to defend her by the masses after news outlet Daily Loud tweeted Duff is "still looking great," despite her being *gasp* 35 years old.
The Lizzie McGuire star recently opened up to Women's Healthmagazine about body positivity.
She shared:
"I'm proud of my body. I'm proud that it's produced three children for me."
"I've gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through."
Needless to say, Daily Loud's tweet isn't sitting well with Duff's adoring fans.

Many argued age has nothing to do with beauty.
Also, since when is 35 old?
Suggested edit: "Hilary Duff looking great."
Her age doesn’t determine her ‼️🔥quotient. Nor does her kid count.
(Which you did not mention)
You’re just perpetuating a v tired + exhausting narrative that woman are disposable after a certain age. Grow up. A million people follow you. @mattxiv 👇🏼 pic.twitter.com/pdTJOb07O2

This is an intolerably ignorant tweet

So I found out that I'm so old that I might die by turning into dust any moment now... Im 34 but it seems looking good at 35 is INCREDIBLE... Also, Hilary Duff, my crush since I was a kid watching bad Disney channel content.

This is why people think after 30 it's all downhill, because of posts and articles like this.
This should've been "Hilary Duff still looking great" or, better yet, just don't comment on people's appearance (that's a whole 'nother problem).

The news outlet's attempt to clarify didn't smooth any wrinkles.
They followed up:
"I said this woman looked gorgeous for having 3 kids at 35 years old."
“I said this woman looked gorgeous for having 3 kids at 35 years old. You can’t even compliment a woman anymore without someone being “upset”… cancel culture crazy but hey thanks for the press 🙏🎉”— Daily Loud (@Daily Loud) 1670363239
Well, that wasn't successful.
Lmao so besides being surprise of her looking good at 35 you're surprise cause she has 3 kids?! Dude please get in contact with human being asap

No one was upset. You just came across as someone who has a school uniform fetish and people told you so. ( also, even if you HAD mentioned '3 kids'...wouldn't have made a difference. Motherhood doesn't turn you into Shrek)

No. U said she "still"... there were thousand way to say it.. but yes.. look at the bright side.. u have engagement
— PartyP (@quierorajardaca) December 8, 2022
Also - could you please tell me what women with 3 kids at 35 look like? Utterly ridiculous. You absolutely didn’t make it any better by adding that.
— SimplyCyn (@iamSimplyCyn) December 8, 2022
So you asume that if you have kids you should look deplorable? Uh?

Some also pointed out public perceptions of aging differ drastically between men and women.
George Clooney is 61 and no one makes such dumb titles about the correlation of his looks and age, but god forbid a woman is not a child anymore and wears a bikini. https://t.co/qRZOtlhvPk

I’m not an Evan Peters fan I’m just trying to say it’s weird how we make posts about female celebrities like this and trying to show how it looks when it’s a male celebrity

One thing everyone can agree on:
"She's beautiful and stunning."
"Period."
@HilaryDuff She's beautiful and stunning. Period

'Nuff said!
