Eric Trump Dragged For Claiming His Dad Is The Most 'Beloved Political Figure In Our Country's History'
Fox News

During a recent appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News program, Republican Eric Trump described his father, former President Donald Trump, as "the most beloved political figure in our country's history."

Twitter couldn't help but disagree with that assessment, considering Trump's consistently low approval ratings while in office.

It also doesn't take a professional politician to figure out that the most "beloved political figure" in history wouldn't lose his reelection campaign, which Trump did.

More than a couple of insults were thrown towards Eric Trump targetting his intellect.

But the most common reaction to Eric's statement was resounding disagreement.

For many Twitter users, Donald Trump's absence from the White House has brought a newfound sense of peace and relaxation.

Eric Trump may not understand it, but his father is far from a popular figure in the United States, which is probably why he's now just a private citizen instead of the President.
