New Poll Has Very Bad News for Donald Trump in Key Swing State of Florida, and That's Not the Only Place He's Struggling

New Poll Has Very Bad News for Donald Trump in Key Swing State of Florida, and That's Not the Only Place He's Struggling

With the global pandemic bringing daily life in the United States to a screeching halt, the 2020 campaign has become somewhat of an afterthought as Americans focus on staying healthy and practicing social distancing.

But though the campaign trail is no longer in full swing, voters across the country can't help but see this crisis as a test of competence for President Donald Trump and a test of leadership for former Vice President and likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

If a new poll in the swing state of Florida is correct, Trump is getting the short end of the stick.

The poll, from the University of North Florida, found that 46 percent of Florida voters would back Biden, while only 40 percent would back Trump if the election were held today.

That's an about face from the narrow victory Trump enjoyed in the state on the night of the 2016 election.

The poll also found that 53 percent of Florida voters don't approve of Trump's handling of the pandemic, and even more—58 percent—don't trust him to deliver accurate information regarding it.

People weren't surprised to hear that a majority of Floridians don't trust Trump to deliver accurate information regarding the national crisis.

All in all, the poll spells bad news for the President.

Those aren't the only states where Trump is struggling against Biden in the polls. Other recent polls have Biden up in Michigan and Wisconsin.

In fact, the poll averages bear this out in crucial swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and even Arizona.

As we learned all too vividly in 2016, polls mean nothing if people don't vote.
