The DJ told CNN how he and the comedian escaped the Burning Man festival in Nevada after heavy rains left over 70,000 attendees stranded in mud.

More than 70,000 attendees at this year's Burning Man festival in Nevada were stranded after torrential rainfall that began on Friday left the desert venue with ankle-deep standing water and "incredibly muddy conditions," according to the New York Times.

And while festival organizers recommended that festival-goers shelter in place and conserve their food and water as a safety precaution, a few lucky attendees managed to escape.

Among them were DJ Diplo and comedian Chris Rock.

Diplo tweeted a video after he and Rock were picked up by some fans, including the caption:

"just walked 5 miles in the mud out of burning man with chris rock and a fan picked us up"

In an interview with CNN on Monday, the DJ recounted his journey, noting there were plenty of silver linings.

"It was a challenge, but honestly one of the highlights of the whole trip was getting out there and enjoying the time out there and seeing the desert, walking through the mud and meeting fans."

Diplo added that Rock was genuinely terrified.

“For sure Chris is going to have a huge bit in his next special about Burning Man, because he was really bizarrely scared of what was going to happen."
“He thought there was going to be cannibalism a day later and didn’t know if people were going to run on our camp and steal our stuff.”

He finished:

“It was like the old times, you know, just caravanning across the country."

You can watch the interview, below.

Viewers of both videos were highly entertained.

Fans were also relieved the two made it out safely.

And we echo those sentiments—so glad you guys got out okay!

Nancy Sinatra Shuts Down MAGA Fan Who Claimed Her Famous Dad Would've Voted For Trump

It's no secret that MAGA Republican President Donald Trump hasn't been able to attract the cream of the crop when it comes to the entertainment industry. While Kid Rock, Kevin Sorbo and Scott Baio are Trump ride or dies, pretty much every other Hollywood or music legend or rising star is taking a pass on Trump.

And some outright despise the man and let everyone know. Often.

And MAGA is not happy about it.
