That Cringey Viral Dance Video For Michael Bloomberg's Campaign Was Actually Just Part Of A Comedy Show

That Cringey Viral Dance Video For Michael Bloomberg's Campaign Was Actually Just Part Of A Comedy Show

Supporters of Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg unveiled a dance routine online recently.

Not to be outdone, supporters of another Democratic nominee, billionaire Mike Bloomberg did the same.

Or so people thought.

That now viral video of people doing a (badly) choreographed dance to Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" while holding "Mike Bloomberg 2020" signs wasn't from a campaign event.

It's pure parody folks.

Now WHAT could they possibly be making fun of?

Oh, yeah. That.

The Bloomberg video was shared on Twitter by Nick Ciarelli. He claimed to be a campaign intern.

Here's the latest awkward dance craze (not really, please don't try this at home or anywhere else).

The Bloomberg campaign begged to differ on Ciarelli's credentials.

Campaign spokesperson Julie Wood stated:

"Nick is not associated with the campaign."

But they'd welcome him aboard according to their Twitter post.

Ciarelli is a comedian with the improv group Upright Citizens Brigade. Per their website, he and his writing partner Brad Evans host a monthly sketch comedy show which was the scene of the choreography crime featured in the supposed Bloomberg video.

The duo kept the joke going for some time on Twitter posing as a fired unpaid intern and a social media manager for Bloomberg.

Ciarelli told BuzzFeed News the video was filmed in Atlantic City and confirmed no one involved with the video is affiliated with the Bloomberg campaign.

"We are not associated with the Bloomberg campaign, we just volunteered our time to make his campaign a viral dance that they didn't seem to appreciate."

Considering the Buttigieg dance, people fell for the parody hook, line and sinker.

Sorry, folks. If you're looking for awkward official campaign dance moves, you'll have to wait.

Hopefully for a really long time.

Trump Adviser's Chess Analogy After Trump's Meeting With Canadian Prime Minister Is Epic Self-Own

President Donald Trump's adviser Stephen Miller was mocked online after he used a chess reference to heap praise onto Trump after his Oval office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Canadian voters returned the Liberal Party to power for a fourth consecutive term after Trump repeatedly threatened Canadian sovereignty amid an ongoing trade war. Carney made defending Canada’s sovereignty a cornerstone of his campaign, pushing back forcefully against Trump’s threats to annex the country as “the 51st state.”

People In Long-Term Relationships Explain What Love Feels Like To Them Now

While some people wax nostalgic about the "good old days" when everyone stayed married, the reality is that there were almost no options for divorced women. There were very few for widows either.

Longevity in relationships was more about necessity and no other choices than devotion. Now that divorce is easily accessible, longterm relationships are more likely to be a choice.
