TikToker @kellikeylimepie's video showing the invitation ignited fierce debate in the comments.

Newlyweds spend a lot of time planning their nuptials to not only make the day special for them but also for those celebrating with them.

And there are other brides- and grooms-to-be who just don't understand the concept of gratitude.

TikToker Kelli—a.k.a. @kellikeylimepie—shared a video demonstrating the latter, in which a couple asked their wedding guests to pay for their own meals.

A copy of the phyiscal wedding invitation shown in the clip informed guests to:

"Please understand that you are obligated to pay for your own meal.”

The overlaying text that showed some level of understanding about the unconventional demand read:

“We get it, you blew all your $ on a wedding…”

The clip's caption asked the bride and groom to "tell us how you really feel."

The wedding invitation also included another specific request.

It read:

“All gifts are appreciated; monetary gifts preferred."

While monetary gifts are not unusual at weddings, instructing guests to pay for their meals was not something that sat well with TikTokers.

It's a good thing the faces of the bride and groom were not seen in the video.

The ensuing mockery would be enough for them to go into hiding.

Trump Adviser's Chess Analogy After Trump's Meeting With Canadian Prime Minister Is Epic Self-Own

President Donald Trump's adviser Stephen Miller was mocked online after he used a chess reference to heap praise onto Trump after his Oval office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Canadian voters returned the Liberal Party to power for a fourth consecutive term after Trump repeatedly threatened Canadian sovereignty amid an ongoing trade war. Carney made defending Canada’s sovereignty a cornerstone of his campaign, pushing back forcefully against Trump’s threats to annex the country as “the 51st state.”

People In Long-Term Relationships Explain What Love Feels Like To Them Now

While some people wax nostalgic about the "good old days" when everyone stayed married, the reality is that there were almost no options for divorced women. There were very few for widows either.

Longevity in relationships was more about necessity and no other choices than devotion. Now that divorce is easily accessible, longterm relationships are more likely to be a choice.
