You may find it hard to believe, but the current Sexiest Man Alive has experienced the feeling of "something much worse" than being ghosted.
The actor who is on his promotional tour for his new film Ghosted was asked if he had ever been the victim of the titular tactic.
He revealed to PEOPLE:
"I feel I've experienced something much worse."
"I think I'd prefer being ghosted because you can make up any story you want."
"I've had the slow decline in text responses, and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually."
But Captain America's strategy is to recognize it and do what he needs to move on.
"You tell yourself a story, whatever you have to do to get by."
People on social media couldn't fathom the idea of anyone brushing the actor aside, and several even offered textual acts of support.

And Evans was not alone in his stance that being "fizzled" seems much harsher than being ghosted.

For now, though, Evans doesn't need to fear the fizzle as he and girlfriend Alba Baptista have been dating for more than a year.
Evans shared what's important to him in a relationship:
"Vulnerability and humility."
"I don't like to argue, I don't like to raise my voice or any forms of manipulation."
"I think declarations of love are great; I love love."
He continued:
"I'm a bit of a sap like that. I like being sentimental, I cry pretty easily."
"At a good song, nice sunset, yeah, my emotions are bubbling."
