The pop star shared her visit with Lance Bass' 20-month-old twins, Violet Betty and Alexander James, in a joyful Twitter post.

The 90s are back! Pop icons Britney Spears and former NSYNC member Lance Bass recently got together just like old times. During their reunion Spears got to meet two very special potential pop stars of the future—Bass' twin babies.

Spears was recently introduced to Bass' 20-month-old twins Violet Betty and Alexander James, whom he shares with husband actor Michael Turchin.

Spears gushed about the meet-up in a Twitter post with photos of her and husband Sam Asghari snuggling up to the little ones during the visit, as seen below.

In her post, Spears wrote:

"I’m a new auntie for Lance’s babies !!! They are absolutely gorgeous babies !!!"

Two snapshots were included of Spears holding one of the babies alongside Bass and Asghari, who was also all smiles in the pics.

Spears, 41, and Bass, 44, of course go way back--both were part of the teen pop explosion of the late 90s, and Spears and NSYNC frequently toured together in the earlier days of their career, with Spears opening for the boy band on their 1998 tour.

But their bond goes even deeper than that. Bass has said that Spears was one of the first people he came out as gay to back in 2004, long before he made the news public, and in a 2021 appearance on Ancestry.com's podcast "2 Lies & a Leaf," he found out that the two are actually related--they're sixth cousins, once removed.

Bass, who married Turchin in 2014 in the first televised same-sex marriage ceremony after meeting at a birthday party, welcomed their twins via surrogate in 2021.

Bass has discussed previously having tried to get the twins to meet their Auntie Britney, but described how difficult it is to get a hold of her, even after the dissolution of her conservatorship in 2021. He told Page Six in 2022:

“It’s just, you know, there’s a wall around her. And for some reason, those people don’t want her old friends involved with her life.”

That seems to have changed now where Bass is concerned, and he and Britney's legions of fans were thrilled by the reunion.

The delightful reunion with Bass comes amid a swirl of good news for Spears, including her new song "Mind Your Business" with will.i.am and a forthcoming memoir to be released in October.

Tim Walz Perfectly Explains Why Trump Running The Country 'Like A Business' Is A Bad Idea

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz criticized President Donald Trump during an interview with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, stressing just why the people who elected Trump to run the country "like a business" were completely misguided.

Walz particularly lamented the impacts of Trump's ongoing trade war with Canada and Mexico, noting that Trump has a history of scuttling deals and "a proven track record of being an absolute failure."

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
