According to 'Variety' reporter Stephen Rodrick, who viewed parts of a new documentary about the making of Lopez's new album, Affleck caught Lopez sharing his private love letters with several musicians—and he wasn't happy about it.

"The Greatest Love Story Never Told" is finally being told, and Ben Affleck is not too happy about it.

According to Variety reporter Stephen Rodrick, who viewed parts of Jennifer Lopez's new documentary about the making of her new album This Is Me...Now, Jennifer Lopez shared her collection of private love letters written by hubby Affleck to help inspire musicians.

Affleck called the collection of love letters "The Greatest Love Story Never Told," which is what Lopez decided to title her documentary. Rodrick reported that when Affleck saw the letters being read by the group, he voiced his displeasure.

Rodrick wrote:

"In the documentary, Affleck comes into the room and seems taken aback when he sees his letters being bandied about."
"He says to the camera, 'I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it’s the greatest love story never told. If you’re making a record about it, that seems kind of like telling it.'"

And people on social media agree with Affleck's position.

Rodrick also wrote that Affleck acknowledged the documentary was a bit of an "adjustment" given his desire to keep his private life out of the public eye.

"In the documentary, Affleck says, 'Things that are private I always felt are sacred and special because, in part, they’re private.' He then delivers an understatement: 'So this was something of an adjustment for me.'"

It's also unsurprising given that both Affleck and Lopez attributed their first breakup to all the media attention surrounding their relationship.

Nevertheless, Rodrick claimed Affleck is "grudgingly" supporting his wife on this endeavor.

The Greatest Love Story Never Told is part of Lopez's three-part project that includes her This Is Me...Now album and a musical film.

The album and film drop today and the documentary is set to be released on February 27.
