Barbra Streisand Blasts Trump As A 'One-Man Weapon Of Mass Destruction' In Scathing Column

In a new column for Variety, Hollywood and Broadway icon Barbra Streisand rips into President Donald Trump for his destabilizing influence on our country.

In her column, Streisand writes:

"Every morning I wake up, holding my breath while I turn on my phone to see the latest news. I think to myself, 'It can't be worse than yesterday.' But when the news loads, I think, 'Ohhhhh, yes, it is worse.'"

Streisand previously put out an entire album (2018's Walls) which was filled to the brim with attacks on Trump.

She described him in this newest piece as a "one-man weapon of mass destruction," saying:

"We can't go on like this. It's too dangerous."

She wrote that on a daily basis Trump "takes another swipe at the pillars of our democracy, but we cannot allow him to irrevocably change this country."

She finished her essay by saying:

"In this upcoming election, we must bring back dignity and grace. We must care about the facts, the planet, each other and the least fortunate among us. We need a new America, without pollution, without obscenities, without insults, without revenge. We need to restore the nobility of truth … and only then will America be great again."

Twitter couldn't help but agree with Streisand.

Keep it up, Ms. Streisand, you're giving us all hope for the future!

Design For New Commemorative Coin Featuring Trump Just Dropped—And People Can't Believe It's Real

On March 19, the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), comprising people appointed by MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, unanimously approved a final design concept proposed for a 24-karat gold United States semiquincentennial commemorative coin.

Instead of featuring the Declaration of Independence or some other images central to the foundation of the nation in 1776 or more universally recognized symbols from the last 250 years, the CFA chose a sketch based on a photo of Trump leaning over the Resolute desk in the Oval Office for the coin's obverse or "heads" side.

Gavin Newsom Said What We're All Thinking About Trump's Decision To Deploy ICE To Airports

After President Donald Trump moved to deploy ICE agents to U.S. airports amid a partial government shutdown that has caused exceptionally long delays at TSA lines nationwide, California Governor Gavin Newsom pointed out exactly why the move is so troubling for citizens and non-citizens alike.

ICE agents are still getting paid during the shutdown, unlike TSA agents, who are currently working unpaid and struggling amid the affordability crisis. News outlets have confirmed ICE agents have been deployed in airports that serve Democratic strongholds, particularly John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports (New York), O'Hare International Airport (Chicago), and others.
