Trump Slammed for Using Address of the White House to Register to Vote in Florida After Copy of Registration Leaks

In 2019, President Donald Trump filed to move his residence from his longtime home of New York City to Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump's infamous Mar-a-Lago resort is located.

Trump recently voted as a Florida resident for the first time. Though he was in Palm Springs during its early voting period, Trump voted by mail—a process he's decried. The President has repeatedly claimed that expanded mail-in voting measures would lead to widespread voter fraud. There is no evidence that voter fraud has ever existed on a high enough level to influence an election.

Ironically enough, Trump inadvertently almost committed the very crime he sought to fight.

Trump's original Florida voter registration recently leaked. Though Florida voters are required to be official residents of the state, Trump listed a residence nearly 1000 miles away: The White House.

The Washington Post reported:

"The September 2019 registration application listed Trump's legal residence as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, the location of the White House. That created a potential problem for Trump: Florida law requires voters to be legal residents of the state. A month later, Trump resubmitted his application to use a Florida address and in March he voted by mail in Florida's Republican primary."

It's unclear whether Trump thought he didn't need to be a resident of the state to vote there or if he just forgot that he was filling out a Florida voter registration form.

Either way Trump's Mar-a-Lago address has since been added to the form.

But the mockery soon set in.

What's that phrase the President's supporters use?

Speaking of voter registration: Have you registered to vote?

Last week, the Pope criticized Trump's widely unpopular war in Iran and called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."

Heidi Klum Just Showed Off The Disguises She Used While Attending Coachella—And She's Unrecognizable

If we can expect one thing from Heidi Klum, it's that she's ready to make a statement everywhere she goes—even if that statement is that you didn't know she was there at all.

Dubbed "The Queen of Halloween," Klum is uniquely gifted in costume fashion design and dedicated to creating costumes that are as much pieces of art as they are articles of clothing. Her pieces are often meant to disguise, if not entirely transform. A great example of this was the Medusa costume she revealed at her annual Halloween party last November.
