With the real Emmys taking place over Zoom this year, Trevor Noah of The Daily Show felt it was only appropriate that he hold a small ceremony of his own: The Pandemmys!

Unlike the Emmys, the Pandemmys celebrate not outstanding achievement in television, but outstandingly terrible lies and the "the most breathtaking achievements of this pandemic season."

The evening's biggest award, Best Bullsh*t, went to President Trump's Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, for this claim on the first day of her new job:

"I will never lie to you, you have my word on that."


Twitter couldn't agree more about who deserved the honor.



Before long, #ByeKayleigh was trending nationally on Twitter.



Many Americans are sick and tired of not being able to trust the words coming from the White House.


Twitter thought it was about time McEnany was recognized for her spectacular achievements in deceit.



Congratulations on your big win, Press Secretary McEnany. You earned it.
