Senator Dropped A Flurry Of F-Bombs During Virtual Hearing On The USPS After Thinking He Was On Mute

Senator Dropped A Flurry Of F-Bombs During Virtual Hearing On The USPS After Thinking He Was On Mute

It's been a very hard year for almost all Americans, and Senator Tom Carper (D-Del.) is no exception.

During a recent virtual Senate hearing, Carper was called on to question Postmaster General Louis DeJoy but was met with technical difficulties and couldn't seem to make his audio work.

As the chairperson of the hearing decided to move past Carper to the next Senator, Carper's mic seemed to turn on just in time to catch his frustrated outburst:

"F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!"

It seemed immediately obvious that the moment would go viral.

Carper even got ahead of the story by tweeting several tongue-in-cheek references to his profanity and calling attention to the postal service crisis.

On Twitter, many people felt they knew exactly what Carper was going through.

2020 has everyone feeling pretty similar to Tom Carper.

Live television will never disappoint when it comes to hilarious moments like these.

Hopefully, someday, Senate hearings will return to the Capitol building, where the only F-bombs dropped are behind closed doors.

While a person's wedding day is meant to be a celebration of their love and starting a new life with their partner, it's also important to remember the life they're leaving "behind," specifically the household that raised them.

In a video that's gone viral multiple times before, a Chinese father presents his daughter, who is about to be married, with a bowl of dumplings. He then selects one dumpling and feeds it to her, as a reminder of how he raised her and symbolizing that this is the last time he'll take care of her before she becomes a married woman.
