TikToker @chronicallychill detailed how her former boyfriend and his mom tried to negotiate with her over dinner into letting him cheat on her with girls at a club for his birthday.

We've all had those moments in which we reflect on a time in our past and wonder, "What was I thinking?"

Well, in TikToker @chronicallychill's case, that question should most definitely be, "What were they thinking?!"

In an eight second video that's been viewed 1.8 million times, the creator Chantel had the words, "Remembering how my ex took me out to dinner with his mum so they could both try to convince me to let him cheat on me for his birthday," on the screen.

Chantel posted a follow-up video to further explain that the three of them were at dinner when they brought up birthday celebration plans. They all lived in Australia where the legal drinking age is 18, and Chantel's boyfriend wanted to go out for his birthday. As she was only 15, she agreed that he should go have a great time.

That's when things got interesting.

She shared:

"He and his mom had obviously spoken about this before because they were on the same page and they were like, 'Well he wants to have like the full club experience.'"
"And I was like, 'What's the full club experience?'"
"And they're like, 'Yeah, to be able to hook up with girls and take girls home.'"

She continued:

"What do you mean? Um, you have a girlfriend."
"I thought he was breaking up with me right then and there with his mum and his mum's boyfriend, just at dinner."
"I was like, 'Are you serious? This is how you're gonna do it?'"

She laughed that he wasn't breaking up with her - he just wanted her permission to cheat.

Chantel went on:

"And I was like, 'No, I'm not actually Ok with that.'"
"And he and his mum were like baffled, they were like, 'Are you serious?'"
"I was like, 'Yeah, no, strangely enough I am serious, I don't want you to cheat on me at the clubs.'"

Apparently that answer didn't sit well with the others as they tried to compromise.

"How about just for his birthday he can cheat on you at the clubs?"

It was still a hard 'no' from Chantel, and they just couldn't believe it.

At the end of her follow-up video, Chantel said that her boyfriend and his mom continued to try and pressure her throughout the evening. Her boyfriend even said she was "embarrassing" him for turning down the proposition in front of his mom.

She finished:

"I do want you to know he was already cheating on me, like a lot."
"And he continued to cheat on me after this, so I don't know why he was so set on getting my permission about the clubs."
"I don't understand men."

We're glad she stood her ground.

P.S. They broke up about a month later.

Tim Walz Perfectly Explains Why Trump Running The Country 'Like A Business' Is A Bad Idea

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz criticized President Donald Trump during an interview with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, stressing just why the people who elected Trump to run the country "like a business" were completely misguided.

Walz particularly lamented the impacts of Trump's ongoing trade war with Canada and Mexico, noting that Trump has a history of scuttling deals and "a proven track record of being an absolute failure."

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
