Every awards season has its viral moments, usually by way of conversations deciphered via lip reading or a new Affleck #mood meme.

At this year's Critics' Choice Awards, it seems the subpar food served to guests took the cake … er, slice.

Many celebrities took to social media to celebrate the evening's festivities, with one major exception, of course: the questionable cuisine.

The meal included some Baja Fresh chips and salsa, a "lazy" charcuterie, and "pizza in a bag."

Actor and producer Jen D'Angelo shared a photo of the charcuterie box to Instagram after thanking everyone who made the evening memorable.

She quipped in the caption:

"And none for Gordon Ramsey bye!"

D'Angelo took to her Instagram stories to emphasize her disappointment in the food served to guests.

She included a photo of the "absolutely revolting 3D printed a** pizza."

Perhaps the most viral moment of the night came from the cast of The Color Purple, whose reaction to being delivered bags of 'za took the internet by storm.

The video making the rounds on social media shows the cast being handed the bags, and each member's face tells you all you need to know.

Oprah Winfrey's jaw practically fell on the table, though she later noted:

"I'm not messing up my lips."

After eyeing the mystery bags, Fantasia Barrino asked:

"Where are the lamb chops?"

Taraji P. Henson and Danielle Brooks eventually succumbed to their hunger, but they did not look pleased at all.

You can watch the video below.

Viewers of the clip noted they, too, would have been disappointed with the course offerings of the evening.

But the masses were delighted by the reactions, nonetheless.

The food wasn't the only disappointment of the evening for The Color Purple. The film earned five Critics' Choice nominations: best picture, best acting ensemble, best costume design, and best hair and makeup, plus a best supporting actress nomination for Brooks. Sadly, they walked away with zero wins.

But, hey, awards season has only just begun.
