Newsmax Anchor Storms Out Of McDonald's After Workers Called Him A 'Male Karen' Over His Bizarre Complaint

Newsmax Anchor Storms Out Of McDonald's After Workers Called Him A 'Male Karen' Over His Bizarre Complaint
Newsmax

When workers at a McDonald's called ultra-conservative Newsmax host Greg Kelly a "Male Karen," he wasn't lovin' it.

In fact, the former co-host of Fox and Friends said he walked out after he asked to see the manager when he discovered there was no "McFish" on the fast-food chain's menu.

A "Karen" has become a pejorative term for entitled, typically White, women who use their privilege and demand to see the manager whenever they are displeased.

It appeared Kelly fit the description for a male counterpart.

According to a tweet in which he aired his grievances about his visit to the golden arches, he said the workers accused him of being a "Male Karen" after he "demanded to see the 'manager.'"

Twitter was quick to point out at least two things wrong with his tweet.

First, he misspelled McDonald's with "MacDonald's", and second, the item he probably meant to say was "Filet-o-Fish," not "McFish."

The popular lunch item would not have been on the menu if he went during breakfast hours, and "McFish" has never been on the McDonald's menu.

People showed no mercy towards the conservative host and continued mocking him for his McTantrum.

Some people got a kick out of riffing on Kelly's tweet.

Kelly's obsession with the burger joint was evident last week when he tweeted twice about the beloved fast-food chain—"MacDonald's."

On January 29, he tweeted:

"BEST KEPT SECRET: MACDONALDS HAS THE BEST ICE CREAM CONES. AND YOU CAN USUALLY GET THEM FOR UNDER 2 BUCKS."

The following day, he wrote:

"Something is off' about the McRib Sandwich at Macdonald's. I can't put my finger on it. But it's not as Good As I Remember."
