Donald Trump Says Nancy Pelosi Is No Longer Speaker of the House 'as Far as I'm Concerned'
ABC News

Wut.

President Donald Trump sat down for a presser with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the United Nations General Assembly. The two have dominated news cycles this week because Trump urged Zelensky to investigate Trump's political rival, former Vice President and 2020 Presidential candidate Joe Biden.

In the joint press conference, Trump insisted that his conversation with Zelensky was to weed out corruption in Ukraine, and assured that Zelensky felt "no pressure" to act on his suggestion to investigate Biden.

He then made a questionable claim about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who launched an official impeachment inquiry against him on Tuesday afternoon.

Trump said:

"She has lost her way. She has been taken over my the radical left. Nancy Pelosi, as far as I'm concerned, unfortunately, she's no longer the Speaker of the House."

As far as the American people are concerned, Pelosi is still very much the Speaker of the House.

People had questions.

Pelosi has yet to respond, because she's likely busy...being Speaker of the House.
