More Than 700 Former Federal Prosecutors Just Said Donald Trump Would Have Faced Obstruction Charges If He Weren't President

Wow.

Over 700 federal prosecutors are speaking out against President Donald Trump.

The letter, published to Medium, insists that Trump—were he not a sitting president—would be charged with obstruction of justice for his attempts to hinder Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The prosecutors' words stand in stark contrast against Trump's insistence that he didn't attempt to obstruct justice:

"The Mueller report describes several acts that satisfy all of the elements for an obstruction charge: conduct that obstructed or attempted to obstruct the truth-finding process, as to which the evidence of corrupt intent and connection to pending proceedings is overwhelming."

The letter goes on to cite the bevy of evidence in the report that bolsters an obstruction charge, including Trump's attempts to fire and discredit Mueller, to limit the scope of his investigation, to discourage witnesses from speaking with the special counsel and numerous other offenses.

It's not only former prosecutors for Democratic administrations either—among the signatories are Republican governor Bill Weld (also a Trump primary challenger for 2020) and Donald Ayer, Deputy Attorney General under George H. W. Bush.

Many are insisting that the president, perhaps more than anyone, should answer to justice.

Yikes.

In order for this trend to work, the person has to poke a hole into each end of the egg to drain it of its yolk and let the shell dry, so it becomes more brittle and easy to crush, making the prank more believable.

Guy Sparks Debate After Abandoning Girlfriend In Economy While He Booked Himself A First Class Seat On Flight

That was certainly true for TikToker Nicole Vawter, or @nicmarievee, anyway, when fellow TikTokers called her partner out on selfishly booking himself a first class seat while his long-time girlfriend sat back in economy.

Guy Sparks Modern Dating Debate With His Unhinged Texts To Woman Who Turned Him Down For Second Date

You know what they say: if a person has to point out how nice they are, they probably aren't really all that nice.

Actions tend to speak louder than words, with an affinity for niceness and kindness being among the best examples. When a person is truly nice and kind, it will come through in their daily attitude and actions without them having to say anything at all.
