MAGA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was hit with predictable groaning after posting on X, formerly Twitter, about the release of her new memoir 'MTG.'

Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was hit with predictable mockery after she announced the upcoming publication of her memoir, titled MTG, which is scheduled for release on November 21.

The book will be published by Winning Team Publishing, a company co-founded by former President Donald Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr. This publishing house has previously published works such as Letters From Trump by the former President himself and Crimes Against America by Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro.

Greene told the Washington Examiner that the book will tell her “side of the story." While she acknowledged that she is already a controversial figure, she said "this book might be a little controversial with some of the stories."

She also took to social media to share the news, writing about her "MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT" in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

You can see Geene's post below.

The release of this memoir could be seen as a strategic move by Greene, as she is rumored to be on the shortlist for Donald Trump's running mate should he secure the 2024 Republican nomination.

According to the Examiner, Greene has stated that she has not ruled out any political options, including running for governor or a Senate seat.

She said:

"I have options. Anything from a governor’s race to a Senate seat. I’m not sure who Trump will pick for a VP. I haven’t closed the door on anything.”

The announcement triggered immediate backlash and mockery from critics on social media.

Greene's book has been in the works for at least a year, according to the Examiner.

Greene said that she hopes it will allow her to “introduce myself to America as me, not the character that the mainstream media created and has sold to America over the past few years.”
