Michell Obama's autobiography "Becoming" is set to become the most successful modern memoirs in publishing history.

The book was released in November and has already sold more than 10 millions copies worldwide, to date.

Her success after life in the White House speaks volumes about the public in need of hearing her voice since the departure of her and her husband Barack Obama.

Thomas Rabe, chief executive of the German media group Bertelsmann, which is a parent company of Penguin Random House, said on Tuesday:

"We believe that these memoirs could well become the most successful memoir ever."

"Becoming" was published in 31 languages and sold 7 million copies in 2018, and but the Obama title an additional 3 million copies since New Year's 2019.

The "Becoming" audiobook, read by Obama herself, also became the fastest selling ever by the media company.

Bertelsmann beat out Rupert Murdoch's HarperCollins and the CBS-owned Simon & Schuster in a 2017 bidding war for the rights to Barack and Michelle Obama's biographies at a cost of $65 million, the most ever for U.S. presidential memoirs, according to The Guardian.

Readers agreed that her book's acclaim was well-deserved.

The momentum for sales is still increasing.

The German media group is expecting Barack Obama's first post-presidency book reflecting on his two terms inside the White House will easily become a bestseller.

The 44th president said in passing:

"I'm at the tail-end of writing my book now."

The Obamas announced last May that they have signed an agreement with Netflix to produce TV series and films for the entertainment service, with content including scripted and unscripted series, documentaries, docu-series, and features.

Former Mace Staffers Claim She Had Them Create Fake Social Media Accounts To Praise Her

According to several former staffers for South Carolina Republican Representative for Nancy Mace, Mace had them create fake social media accounts—a "bot army," if you will—to monitor chatter about her online and to "bolster her image."

The aides say that Mace, who plays a key role in shaping GOP policy on technology and workforce issues as chair of the House Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation, demonstrates a disconnect between the high expectations for her leadership in these complex policy areas and her demonstrated expertise in the technical details.

Harvard President Gets Standing Ovation After Subtle Jab At Trump During Graduation Speech

Harvard University President Alan M. Garber received a standing ovation after he subtly jabbed the Trump administration over its attack on foreign students during his commencement speech on Thursday.
