'Fox and Friends' Host 'Stunned' That New Fox News Poll Shows 50% Support Impeaching and Removing Donald Trump

'Fox and Friends' Host 'Stunned' That New Fox News Poll Shows 50% Support Impeaching and Removing Donald Trump
Fox News

Since announcing a formal impeachment inquiry in September and holding impeachment hearings in the House Intelligence and Judicial Committees, support for impeaching and removing President Donald Trump from office is now greater than opposition.

Even a recent Fox News poll indicated that 50% of the country wants Trump removed from office.

But the hosts of Fox and Friends—one of the President's favorite shows on the network—could hardly believe the results of their own network's poll, apparently believing their own anti-impeachment spin. Brian Kilmeade was downright "stunned" by the finding.

Watch below.

Kilmeade said:

"It says 50 percent of the country want the President impeached. I was stunned to see that was the number, because I thought that things were trending away, although the President's approval rating did tick up in the same poll, so it's almost like a split personality."

The President must have been equally stunned. He lashed out at Fox News' polling again this weekend.

Though Republicans and hesitant Democrats warned for years that impeaching the President would be politically damning for the Democratic party, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) asserted in September that it was her constitutional mandate to open an impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump.

The President withholding congressionally approved military aid from Ukraine in exchange for its president announcing politically beneficial investigations for Trump was the last straw for Pelosi—and many other Americans.

Around half the country continues to support impeachment as facts continue to exhibit corruption in the White House's dealings with Ukraine.

People weren't stunned that Kilmeade was stunned.

Some pointed out other things that might surprise Kilmeade.

The House is set to vote on articles of impeachment on the floor this week.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
