The singer was briefly hospitalized after suffering a fall at his villa in Nice, France.

Music legend Sir Elton John spent a night at the hospital after he reportedly fell at his villa in Nice, France.

According to his spokesperson, the 76-year-old "Rocket Man" singer was hospitalized and treated for minor injuries “following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France.”

But rest assured, the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is "Still Standing."

The spokesperson continued:

“Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure."
"Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”

Concerned fans sent him a lot of love.

After all, "That's What Friends Are For."

They also invoked some of his best songs to bring a little levity after the bummer news.

What caused the fall?

People shared the same theory.

The five-time Grammy Award winner is in the company of family at his summer home in France after his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour wrapped in July.

He went through a similar ordeal when a nasty fall in 2021 forced him to reshuffle concert dates for the globally successful tour after he underwent hip surgery.

He was back on his feet and able to walk using crutches in time to accept his appointment as a member of the Order of the Companions of Honour by King Charles.

At the time, he said during a ceremony at Windsor Castle:

“I may not look as if I’m 100 percent fit–I’m not quite."
"But I’m still raring to go and I’ve got a lot more work to do as far as my life goes.”

His Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, named as a nod to his 1973 album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, became one of the highest-grossing tours of all time at $939 million from 328 shows and with six million tickets sold.

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
