Still livid at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tearing up his father's State of the Union address on Tuesday night, Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to scoff at Pelosi saying she prays for President Donald Trump.

Don Jr.'s tweet came shortly after the President himself accused Pelosi of lying about praying.

Junior said Pelosi praying for the President was about as likely as Satan quoting the Bible.

There's just one problem: The Devil does quote biblical scripture.

This occurs most notably in Matthew 4, when Satan tempts Jesus in the desert to break his oath to God:

"Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 'If you are the Son of God,' he said, 'throw yourself down. For it is written:
"He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."

Jesus answered him, 'It is also written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

People who actually knew what they were talking about were quick to point this out to Junior.

Trump himself famously pronounced 2 Corinthians as "Two Corinthians" instead of Second Corinthians, as it's properly called. He also has said he doesn't feel the need to ask God for forgiveness.

Nevertheless, Trump's approval rating among white Evangelicals consistently remains strong.
