Country icon Dolly Parton came up with the perfect way to honor her husband's 79th birthday by revisiting the outfit she wore for the October 1978 issue of Playboy Magazine.

On Tuesday, Parton took to her social media pages and posted a video wishing her husband of 55 years, Carl Thomas Dean, a happy birthday.

"You're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this," said Parton—who donned the signature Playboy bunny ears, a black bustier, and a white bow tie.

The "Jolene" singer explained:

"Remember, some time back, I said I was going to pose in Playboy magazine when I was 75? Well, I'm 75, and they don't have a magazine anymore."
"But my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy."

In the video, she showed viewers the gift she was going to surprise her hubby with—a frame containing a photo of her "butterball" self from the original Playboy shoot along with a new reenactment photo of her in the bunny suit.

The clip ended with a snapshot of Parton surprising her husband with the special gift.

Parton and Carl Thomas Dean were married on May 30, 1966, in Ringgold, Georgia.

While she does not use his surname professionally, she has stated her passport reads, "Dolly Parton Dean," and she sometimes uses his surname when signing contracts.

She has often commented on Dean's romantic side and how he often surprises her and writes her poems.

In 2011, Parton said of their marriage:

"We're really very proud of our marriage. It's the first for both of us. And the last."

Happy birthday, Carl!

You are truly blessed with the greatest gift of them all and we believe she "will always love you."

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
