David Beckham Trolls Victoria Beckham Again For Claiming She Had A 'Working Class' Upbringing

After previously calling out the Spice Girl in their Neflix docuseries 'Beckham' for trying to claim she was from a 'working class' family despite her dad driving a Rolls-Royce, the former soccer star once again teased his wife in a New Year's Eve post on Instagram.

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham was known as "Posh Spice" during her tenure with the Spice Girls for a reason, and her husband David Beckham isn't ever letting her forget why.

After previously ribbing her during their Netflix docuseries Beckham for claiming to have grown up "working class," the former soccer star took to Instagram to tease Posh once again over New Year's.

On New Year's Eve, Beckham posted a photo of himself and Victoria at lunch with Victoria's parents, Anthony and Jackie Adams.

At first glance it's just the usual photo of a couple with the in-laws, albeit at one of London's toniest hotels, The Ritz. But it was the caption that told the full story.

Beckham captioned the post:

"Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz ❤️ @victoriabeckham Very working class 😂"
"My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s 🤎"

The caption referenced a moment from their docuseries that went wildly viral last fall in which Victoria described the first time she met David.

Part of what attracted her to him was how close he was to his family, which she said she identified with because of their similar backgrounds.

As she put it:

“Both of our parents work really hard, we’re very working, working class."

Which caused Beckham to pipe in from off screen, "Be honest."

After going back and forth about it several times, David finally asked Victoria to reveal what kind of car her parents had back in the day.

Finally, she admitted:

"OK, in the ’80s my dad had a Rolls-Royce."

They truly don't call her "Posh" for nothing!

What she likely meant was that her parents accumulated their wealth through hard work and entrepreneurship by starting their own business, not through family wealth and titles like most affluent people in the UK. Still, the overreach, and David Beckham's ribbing about it, were undeniably hilarious.

And fans loved David Beckham poking fun at his wife over New Year's just as much.

Move over Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, because David teasing Victoria is everyone's favorite celebrity comedy bit in 2024.

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
