Bizarre News Of A 'Galactic Federation' Of Aliens Sparks A Ton Of Out-Of-This-World Memes

Every time you think 2020 can't get any more outlandish the universe shows up and tells you that you are simply WRONG.

This time, the universe LITERALLY showed up. A bizarre claim from former Israeli space security chief Haim Eshed is to blame.

Eshed has said that a group of alien intergalactic systems has made contact with the Earth, and that both the United States and Israel have come to an agreement with the group (known hereto as the "Galactic Federation") so that it "may research and understand the fabric of the universe."

However, Eshed says Earth has not joined said Federation as humans are not "ready" to experience alien life.

This is so wild and out of left field that immediately it received the meme treatment.

Also included in these crazy allegations is an underground base on Mars—home to American and alien representatives.

Eshed also implied US President Donald Trump was going to disclose the existence of said aliens, but the Galactic Federation stepped in "to prevent mass hysteria."

If there is such a Federation, what do they think of Earth?

"The Galactic Federation makes jokes about the Earth like we make jokes about Florida," said one user.

This year has been such a wreck for Earth that joining an intergalactic group of systems and being able to leave the planet might sound really appealing right now.

But aside from Eshed's word, no evidence exists that there is such a thing.

If there were, it would be the perfect cherry on top of 2020.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was swiftly fact-checked after he claimed in a post on X that he'd ended the "woke" Women, Peace & Security (WPS) program because it was an initiative created by the Biden administration.

For the political right, "wokeness" or "wokeism" generally refers to a left-leaning perspective that acknowledges the widespread existence of racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination in American society.

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
