Footage from an Indonesian burial service is no doubt bringing nerves higher after a scary moment in which a corpse appeared to "wave" through the window of its coffin.

The moment was captured on video while mourners looked on.

"God has said in the Book of John, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, he will live even though he is dead.'"

The priest's words seemed prophetic as the deceased person's hand then hit the front window of the coffin and disappeared from sight.

While several people were afraid this pointed to a live burial, still others told their own ghost stories of the purportedly dead coming back to life for moments.

Then of course was the big question—what sort of coffins have windows?

Rigor mortis, from the latin words meaning "stiffness of death," refers to the stiffening and shifting of the joints and muscles in the body after death.

Rigor mortis could easily have been responsible for a corpse moving after death. The phenomenon is reported regularly at morgues and mortuaries.

But it is still creepy.

While the likelihood that rigor mortis is responsible is high, it doesn't rule out the living dead.

Would anyone be surprised by a zombie outbreak right now?

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
