To honor ailing Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, Congress named the latest defense policy the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 but Trump ignored the Senator completely.

While discussing and signing the bill, President Trump completely ghosted the former prisoner of war, active member of the Senate and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. This is not the first time Trump has shown little respect for the decorated war hero. In 2015, Trump said McCain was only a hero because he was captured, but that Trump liked people who weren't captured.

Trump, in a clear attempt to snub the Senator, even omitted McCain's name when saying the name of the bill. Trump did get the funding he was looking for to the tune of $12 million for the military parade he wants. The obvious retaliation by Trump against McCain who is battling brain cancer, did not go over on social media.

And about that parade for himself.

Although he isn't getting a parade or even a mention, McCain still took the high road.

The people were here for McCain.

Trump can question of McCain is a hero but it seems as if the people have already decided.

Fox News Guest Has Blunt Reminder About Trump After Sean Hannity Asks About Biden's 'Cognitive Decline'

Fox News personality Sean Hannity was widely mocked after guest commentator Stephanie Miller gave him more than he bargained for with her response to his question about when she first noticed former President Joe Biden's "cognitive decline."

Earlier this week, Trump made headlines for claiming "no one knows what magnets are" during an Oval Office exchange. He has also continued to attract attention for falling asleep during events.
