A TikToker is thanking her lucky stars she had a Ring camera after catching a real estate agent on it advertising her not-for-sale house to a bunch of strangers.

"Had I not had a Ring camera I would never have known this happened at all," @busymomonli noted in her caption.

The video shows an unknown party ringing the doorbell and then looking around the house grounds.

The original poster, or OP, noted her dog was home and did nothing. The groups of people who were seeing the house stayed for approximately 20 mins and then left.

After the party left, OP phoned police and drove home to wait for them.

According to our OP, the realtors were meant to be showing the house next door but got confused upon arrival, and showed her house, which her son had left the back door unlocked to.

“I don’t believe that [the real estate agents] were casing my house or trying to sell my house out from under me," she said, though other TikTokers were less likely to believe that.

Since calling the police, the TikToker has not heard more from the real-estate company.

But thankfully, it all seems to have been a genuine misunderstanding, and all parties have been able to move on.
