TikToker @barfly7777 recently shared a video of himself cooking shrimp and mashed potatoes in an airplane bathroom sink with the help of two large batteries—and viewers were thoroughly disgusted.

Travelers seeking to enjoy a cheap meal on a flight instead of coughing up $20 for a ready-made refrigerated sandwich at the airport need not look further.

Unless you're prone to gagging.

Social media users got the dry heaves after watching a TikTok prankster eating his "mile-high bathroom garlic shrimp and mash" meal that he "cooked" in an aircraft lavatory after combining the ingredients in the wash basin.

And we all know how sanitary that is.

TikToker Barfly posted a clip of his amateur culinary concoction, made on a Delta flight, and received over 900,000 views within four days of posting.

"With 2 6v batteries wired in series to an immersion beverage heater, one is able to get water scalding hot quickly," he explained in the caption.

He continued:

"Raw shrimp will only need a few minutes. Adding instant mash to the shrimp water adds some extra flavor."
"Garlic butter makes everything go."

Does it, though?

You decide.

The clip showed Barfly en route to the airport, going through TSA, boarding the plane, and showing viewers two packages of "Great Value" brand frozen food items from his seat.

One package contained "roasted garlic complete potatoes" and the other had "x-large shrimp."

He grabbed one of the air-sick bags from the back-seat pocket and made his way over to the lavatory, but not to vomit or even for a tinkle.

Once inside, he filled the bathroom sink and boiled the water with the help of a 2-pack Rayovac Zinc Carbon 6-Vol lantern battery.

Next, he dumped the bag of shrimp in the sink of hot water and threw in some garlic powder and pads of butter for flavoring.

Using the same water, he emptied the bag of powdered mashed potatoes and combined the ingredients with his hands, using more pads of butter for his starchy appetizer.

He then tossed the mashed clumps in the barf bag, threw in the shrimp, and returned to his seat, where he scarfed down his DIY lunch in the sky.

A scroll through his TikToks indicates Barfly focuses on shocking food videos.

But his in-flight meal video, in particular, caused turbulence back on terra firma.

The backlash continued on X (formerly Twitter).

When people accused Barfly of staging the viral video, he insisted, "This wasn't done in a studio."

After a skeptical user pointed out there were two different sinks shown in the clip, Barfly noted:

"It actually took me two planes to get it all filmed."
"Yeah, but they were all up in the air and I got it done."

He added there were a "few outtakes that didn't make the cut."

You can see his explanation video here.

Delta has not responded to inquiries regarding whether or not Barfly violated any specific rules.

The airline did say, however, that they knew of the video and were looking into it.

Trump Bizarrely Clashes With Reporter Over Photoshopped 'Tattoo' On Abrego Garcia's Knuckles

President Donald Trump sparked criticism after claiming during an interview with ABC News’ Terry Moran that an edited photo depicting tattoos of wrongly-deported Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia showed that he has an alleged connection to the MS-13 gang.

Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who arrived in the U.S. in 2012, was labeled a threat in 2019 due to an alleged connection to MS-13. He spent months in detention before an immigration judge found he had a credible fear of persecution—not from MS-13, but from a rival group, Barrio 18, which he said had been extorting his family.

Leavitt Lashes Out At Amazon Over 'Hostile' Plan To Display Added Tariff Costs For Products On Website

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at Amazon over news that the commerce giant planned to display increased "import charges" on items on their Amazon Haul website, essentially showing to customers the extra money they'd have to shell out as a result of President Donald Trump's tariffs.

Trump has escalated a growing trade war by imposing tariffs of up to 145% on Chinese imports, prompting China to retaliate with its own 125% tariffs on American goods. Additionally, the U.S. has slapped a 10% tax on imports from most other countries, while temporarily suspending higher rates for several nations for 90 days.
