The actor's sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, shared a poignant tribute to Bullock's partner of eight years, Bryan Randall, after his private three-year battle with ALS.

In a lovely tribute to Sandra Bullock's late partner Bryan Randall, Bullock's sister praised the actor for being the "best of caretakers" during Randall's private three-year battle with ALS.

Gesine Bullock-Prado shared a photo of Randall, who died over the weekend, with the caption:

"I’m convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in heaven and is already casting his lure into rushing rivers teaming with salmon."

Bullock-Prado then acknowledged the care he received from her sister and his nurses.

"ALS is a cruel disease but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home."

She finished the post:

"Rest in peace, Bryan."
"In lieu of flowers, please donate to ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital."

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a "rare neurological disease that affects motor neurons—those nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement."

The progressive disease is particularly devastating as it has no cure or effective treatment.

People on social media sent their love and condolences to the family.

Bullock met the photographer when she hired him for her son Louis' 5th birthday party in 2015. The two began dating shortly after but kept their romance out of the spotlight.

During a 2021 appearance on Red Table Talk, Bullock described Randall as "the love of my life."

She added:

"We share two beautiful children— three children, [Randall's] older daughter. It's the best thing ever."

On Monday, Randall's family announced that he had passed on Saturday at 57 years old.

"It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS."
"Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request."
"We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours."
"At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan."

We're sending our condolences to all of Randall's friends and family as they mourn such a tremendous loss.

Tim Walz Perfectly Explains Why Trump Running The Country 'Like A Business' Is A Bad Idea

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz criticized President Donald Trump during an interview with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, stressing just why the people who elected Trump to run the country "like a business" were completely misguided.

Walz particularly lamented the impacts of Trump's ongoing trade war with Canada and Mexico, noting that Trump has a history of scuttling deals and "a proven track record of being an absolute failure."

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
