Whoa.

A parade in Italy featured a towering likeness of President Donald Trump in the armor of God Emperor from the Warhammer 40k video game, complete with a Twitter sword and a claw.

The float was created by Fabrizio Galli for the Viareggio Carnevale, a Tuscan parade famous for its elaborate floats skewering famous people from politicians to celebrities.

The God-Emporer character oversees a human civilization in the Warhammer game that has ceased its technological and scientific growth due to the civilization's superstitious leader. Those who question his ability to rule face persecution.

Galli, the creator of the float, elaborated on the meaning of it in an interview during the procession:

"he brandishes this weapon of the economy, it says ‘Dazi Vostri’ [approx. ‘here’s your f***ing tariffs’], it’s a joke, but in fact he’s trying to destroy nations with the economy instead of nuclear missiles. This is one of the strongest actions, let’s say, that powerful people like Trump can use.”

A description of the float written by Galli for the parade's website reads:

“Donald wants to go back to the moon, travel to Mars and create the first space army. Ultras Marines? Mega Marines? The time of intellectuals, philosophers and of old and worn culture is over. We have entered the era of fantasy, videogames and virtual life.”

The float stunned viewers from around the world.

Yet the meaning seemed to be lost on some.

Many Trump supporters thought the float was an effort to glorify the embattled President.

People tried to tell them...

On the bright side, Trump finally got some iteration of the parade he wanted so badly.
