A West Hollywood, California gay bar is under fire after a TikToker posted a video claiming the establishment kicked out a couple of patrons because a bartender was rejected by one of them.
TikToker @benjispears told all in a video about his experience at Micky's West Hollywood where he and his friend had the bouncer called on them because his friend refused to sleep with the bartender.
@benjispears We were just kicked out of Mickeys in West Hollywood bc my bestie turned down an employee and they had us removed. Regulars blow this up! What if this was a woman. He said no and now we can’t go there #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #serverlife #bartender #trend
Spears' video set off a wave of backlash against Micky's West Hollywood.
On Yelp!, the establishment has plummeted to 2.5 stars and has received a deluge of negative attention.
"I'm so shocked at what happened," wrote one reviewer.
"The disgusting display of sexual harassment has me sick to my stomach. Consent is a human right. And for anyone to feel as if they can't deny someone .... In fear they'll get removed from an establishment. Is sad."

Spears argued with other employees of the bar and got his drink refunded in the video.
"I would be completely embarrassed if I was running this establishment!!!" wrote one review.
"Do not waste your time or your money."

Spears posted two follow-up videos that got more in depth about just what happened that night at the bar:
@benjispears Mickeys in West Hollywood REALLY?! #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #trend #gay #lgbtq #mickeys #food #serverlife #bartender
@benjispears Last thing I’m saying 🥰 I love you regulars #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #serverlife #bartender #comedy #trend #trending #food
Spears says he and his friend were removed for "endangering others" with no further qualifiers offered.
"My brand is comedy, laughter, my goal is to make you guys laugh," Spears, himself a bartender in Los Angeles, added.
"But most importantly, I use my brand to help educate, and to focus on keeping bar patrons safe. I make videos to teach everyone to keep themselves safe… and that's why I was so passionate and upset last night."
