Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has risen to infamy in the House of Representatives for all the wrong reasons.
Greene was stripped of her committee assignments due to her past support for deranged conspiracy theories and for the execution of her now colleagues. To make matters worse, the rhetoric she frequently spews against Democrats has contributed to the deepening tensions in the American political climate.
On Tuesday, it was more of the same.
After Congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) posted messages supporting Palestine in the ongoing crisis surrounding Sheikh Jarrah, Greene responded by likening the Congresswomen to terrorists.
She even labeled them with the hashtag #JihadSquad—yet another insult to two of the first Muslim women elected to the United States Congress.

Greene said that members who "support terrorism" should be booted from Congress.
Whether due to subpar intelligence or the tolerance of violence committed by white people, Greene has a poor track record of recognizing actual terrorism. For instance, she frequently lies that the Black Lives Matter movement is a domestic terrorist organization, citing the overwhelmingly peaceful protests against racist police violence this past summer.
Black Lives Matter is not classified by anyone with cognitive reasoning abilities as a terrorist organization, but even the administration of former President Donald Trump recognized white supremacist domestic terrorism as "the most persistent and lethal threat in the homeland."
Greene's attempts to call out what she believed was terrorism resulted in an embarrassing self-own, given the events of January 6, when a mob of pro-Trump extremists stormed the United States Capitol. Ahead of the violent failed insurrection, Greene embraced yet another conspiracy theory: the absurd belief that the 2020 election was "stolen" by Democrats.
The Congresswoman spewed the same rhetoric that created the violence. In addition to embracing the lie that the election was stolen, Greene presented the joint congressional session certifying Biden's victory as a "1776 moment."
People had one response to Greene's claim that those supporting terrorism shouldn't be in Congress.

Greene likely won't resigned, but the good people of Georgia's 14th District have the chance to vote her out next year.
