Jim Jordan's One-Word 'Trump' Tweet Gets Turned Into A Game—And It's An Instant Classic

Another day, another conservative getting self-owned on social media.

This time around it's Ohio Republican Representative and accused sexual assault enabler Jim Jordan, one of former Republican President Donald Trump's most ardent supporters.

So ardent, in fact, that he posted a one-word tweet adulating the former President. So Twitter did what it does best—turned it into a meme and a Twitter game.

It all began when Jordan tweeted the following:

Just, "Trump." Apropos of nothing. No context, no commentary, just: "Trump." Okay then!

Now, to be fair, this is a whole lot better than some of the other stuff Jordan has been saying lately, like blaming Democratic President Joe Biden for gas prices (over which the President has almost no control, which is why gas prices have soared all over the world, not just the United States).

Or like when he said a couple weeks ago that he agrees with former President Trump that campaign aides to his 2016 election opponent, former Democratic Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, should be executed.

And, of course, there's the recent trove of incriminating information about Jordan's lengthy phone call with Trump on the morning of January 6. (Wonder what they talked about? Probably just sports or whatever.)

So in the grand scheme of things, a weird, sort of pathetic, definitely sycophantic tweet cheering for Trump is probably the least of our worries when it comes to Jim Jordan. But you know Twitter wasn't about to let it go.

Instead, they used Jordan's brown-nosing tweet as a sort of Jeopardy-style prompt to take digs at Trump, and a roast of the former President quickly ensued.

Jordan seems to be unfazed by his face plant and has been hard at work posting tweet after tweet of disinformation about all sorts of things. But his last Twitter face-plant was only two days before this one, so just give him time.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was swiftly fact-checked after he claimed in a post on X that he'd ended the "woke" Women, Peace & Security (WPS) program because it was an initiative created by the Biden administration.

For the political right, "wokeness" or "wokeism" generally refers to a left-leaning perspective that acknowledges the widespread existence of racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination in American society.

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
