Iowa Woman Perfectly Trolls Ron DeSantis With Homemade Snowflake Gift With A Hidden Message

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis posed for a photo while holding a framed cutout of a white snowflake during a stop in Iowa but was completely unaware of the cutout's hidden message.

Unbeknownst to DeSantis, every branch of the snowflake had the word "fascist" hidden in the design.

DeSantis was at an event at the Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport, Iowa on Friday, March 10, when he received the snowflake.

DeSantis wasn't the only one that got trolled with the genius snowflakes. Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds could be seen holding her own "fascist" snowflakes as well.

The "fascist" snowflake is the brainchild of artist and activist Julie Meyerson Ross, who also sells T-shirts featuring the design, which she appears to have made with DeSantis in mind.

The design attracted attention from DeSantis' critics on both sides of the political aisle.

Bob Duff, a Democratic state Senator from Connecticut, responded:

"If the snowflake fits."

The snowflake was also a hit with right-wing reactionary and White nationalist Laura Loomer, who laughed because DeSantis "got trolled in Iowa."

Many appreciated and echoed the snowflake's message.

DeSantis, who has signaled an impending presidential run, is arguably former Republican President Donald Trump's biggest competition for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

DeSantis has denied he is running a presidential campaign even as he has embarked on a book tour that political commentators have suggested is a litmus test to see how prospective voters could respond to him in the event he is elevated to the national stage.

Many critics have expressed alarm over his fascistic behavior, particularly after his recent decision to stack the board of trustees of the New College of Florida with conservative allies who aim to transform the public liberal arts college into a haven for conservative thought.

Additionally, DeSantis has made "woke" the buzzword of his gubernatorial career by attacking the LGBTQ+ community through his "Don't Say Gay" law and dismantling efforts by schools to teach history that is both accurate and inclusive of contributions made by marginalized groups.

DeSantis, who has been praised by hardline conservatives, Evangelicals, and White nationalists, has said he will oppose any efforts to make White students feel "discomfort" in classrooms.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz criticized President Donald Trump during an interview with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, stressing just why the people who elected Trump to run the country "like a business" were completely misguided.

Walz particularly lamented the impacts of Trump's ongoing trade war with Canada and Mexico, noting that Trump has a history of scuttling deals and "a proven track record of being an absolute failure."

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
