But THEN... a sub-frenzy ensued when people somehow just learned through the resurrected segment that Anderson is actually American.

People on social media lost their minds over the fact that Anderson is a Chicago-born American.
We do, however, see where some of the confusion lies.
To be fair, though, Anderson did spend some of her childhood and many of her summers in London.
But... she's still not British, y'all.
