The original Avengers have been through more than their fair share together—both on and offscreen. In honor of their six year anniversary as a superhero team, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson got matching tattoos to remind them of the memories they've shared!


Chris Evans couldn't be in the room with the other four as they got their ink, but he was with them in spirit!




It turns out the tattoo contained symbols representing all of their characters!



Avengers fans were touched by the matching tats.




If you're going to get a tattoo, this seems like a pretty good reason.




Upon seeing the design, some fans were already on their way to the tattoo parlor...


Hopefully someday we can all be lucky enough to run with a squad tight enough to get matching tats.
