Even Elon Musk Wants JK Rowling To Give Her Anti-Trans Screeds A Rest—And Yikes

The X owner commented on one of the 'Harry Potter' author's anti-trans posts to encourage her to try posting 'interesting and positive content on other matters.'

Never in a million years did we think we'd see the day where we'd agree with Elon Musk on something, but here we are.

To be fair, though, it's because he's telling JK Rowling to cool it with the anti-trans rants.

Yes, once again, the Harry Potter author took to Musk's platform to spew her bigoted views (shocker, we know).

The self-proclaimed TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist), who's gone so far as to say she'd "happily" go to prison over her anti-trans views, tweeted a lengthy 700-word response to "several questions" she allegedly had been "accused of avoiding answering" regarding her views on what she believes "a woman is."

This, of course, came just a month after the author mocked gender-neutral language in a U.K. Mother's Day Post, tweeting:

"❤️💐Happy Birthing Parent Day to all whose large gametes were fertilised resulting in small humans whose sex was assigned by doctors making mostly lucky guesses ❤️💐"

In her April 6 tweet, Rowling laid out her definition of a woman in about six paragraphs, writing that a woman is “a human being who belongs to the sex class that produces large gametes..." along with about 696 other words.

And even Musk is over it.

Unfortunately, he doesn't disagree with Rowling's views—but he did, however, urge the author to post on "other matters," tweeting:

"While I heartily agree with your points regarding sex/gender, may I suggest also posting interesting and positive content on other matters?"

People on Musk's own platform were stunned, to say the least.

A few also wondered how Rowling will take the suggestion.

While Rowling didn't respond directly to Musk's tweet, she did later post to say that she "missed being advised to share more positive content yesterday":

That certainly doesn't sound like she has plans to slow down on her anti-trans content.

But now we have to wonder if Musk will take his own advice...

Design For New Commemorative Coin Featuring Trump Just Dropped—And People Can't Believe It's Real

On March 19, the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), comprising people appointed by MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, unanimously approved a final design concept proposed for a 24-karat gold United States semiquincentennial commemorative coin.

Instead of featuring the Declaration of Independence or some other images central to the foundation of the nation in 1776 or more universally recognized symbols from the last 250 years, the CFA chose a sketch based on a photo of Trump leaning over the Resolute desk in the Oval Office for the coin's obverse or "heads" side.

Gavin Newsom Said What We're All Thinking About Trump's Decision To Deploy ICE To Airports

After President Donald Trump moved to deploy ICE agents to U.S. airports amid a partial government shutdown that has caused exceptionally long delays at TSA lines nationwide, California Governor Gavin Newsom pointed out exactly why the move is so troubling for citizens and non-citizens alike.

ICE agents are still getting paid during the shutdown, unlike TSA agents, who are currently working unpaid and struggling amid the affordability crisis. News outlets have confirmed ICE agents have been deployed in airports that serve Democratic strongholds, particularly John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports (New York), O'Hare International Airport (Chicago), and others.
