The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star was married to Faris for nine years and shares a son, Jack, with her.

Chris Pratt shared an Instagram post on Mother's Day, but people on social media are calling him out for excluding his ex-wife Anna Faris, with whom he shares a son Jack.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star posted a photo of himself with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, his mother Kathy and mother-in-law Maria Schriver and honored all three in the caption.

He captioned his photo:

"Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there. Especially grateful today for Katherine."
"You're a wonderful partner. You've provided me such a blessed life. Our two daughters are so lucky to have you and you're the best step mama to Jack."

He continued by singing his praises of both his mother and mother-in-law.

"And to my mom, Kathy, you raised us with such love and light and laughter—so grateful for you today and always."
"And to Maria, the best Mama G, I'm lucky to have you as a mother-in-law."

Pratt finished his post:

"And to all of the other moms in my life, I'm so grateful for all you do—thank you so much."
"Hope you feel celebrated today."

While Pratt's words were likely well-intentioned, many expressed their disappointment he didn't mention the mother of his son.

Pratt and Faris were married for nine years before divorcing in 2018.

Others, however, defended the Parks and Rec actor.

They noted Faris was not in the photo and she didn't post about him on Father's Day.

Faris may have been recognized outside of social media just as she may have done the same for Pratt on Father'sDay.

Regardless, we hope she had a wonderful Mother's Day, too.
