Oh, what we wouldn't give to be in a helicopter with Chris Hemsworth! One fan got to live out all of our dreams on Sunday, October 21st, when he randomly got picked up by Chris and crew and given a free ride.
Scott Hildebrand, a musician from Chicago, decided to hitchhike from Brisbane Airport to Byron Bay.
Within 15 minutes, Chris Hemsworth himself, along with his friend Luke Zocchi, pulled up.
At first, Hildebrand felt unsure because he "didn't know who they were" and they were filming, but, then they got chummy.
After riding in the van for a little while, the three got into a helicopter.
"They said, 'we're gonna make a quick stop and switch vehicles', and at that point I was like, 'oh, i can help pitch for gas'… and they're like 'you're not gonna want to do that, it'll be like four grand for that'," Hildebrand said.
Hildebrand has never hitchhiked before. Imagine that--your first time, and Thor himself picks you up.
Anyone want to go on a trip to Brisbane Airport?
