Denver Broncos Brutally Troll Travis Kelce With Song Choice After Beating Kansas City Chiefs

The Broncos blared Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' after their win against the Chiefs—and Swift's romantic interest—on Sunday.

At the most recent Kansas City Chiefs game, one particularly notable fan was glaringly not in attendance—Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce.

And it seems that Swift might be the team's good luck charm, because the Chiefs lost—and lost big—without Swift in the stands, despite being favored to win over the Denver Broncos.

Naturally, the winning team had to celebrate their upset victory, and they did so with a perfect reminder for the Chiefs, and Kelce in particular, by playing Swift's hit "Shake It Off" on the arena's sound system after the game.

But this was no spur-of-the-moment, off-the-cuff jam. The Denver Broncos cheerleaders had a whole choreographed routine ready, proving that the Broncos were champing at the bit to troll Kelce should they get the chance.

And boy did they ever. They bested the Chiefs 24-9 in a surprising upset, the first time they've beaten the Chiefs in years after a staggering 16 consecutive losses against the team.

The gag comes on the heels of Kelce having rocked out to the song at Game 1 of the World Series recently as well, so the song must have been extra bittersweet.

But even disappointed Chiefs fans had to admit that playing "Shake It Off" was expert-level trolling on the Broncos' part, and people on social media couldn't help but laugh about it.

"Shake It Off" is a great choice, but if Swift's absence from the stands turns into a losing streak for the Chiefs, the next victors should switch to "Anti-Hero." Hearing "it's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me" blare through the arena would really be the ultimate troll.

Ellen DeGeneres Just Tried To Mow The Lawn At Her Sprawling UK Estate—And It Went South Fast

Say what you may about Ellen DeGeneres, but we can all agree that she's always tried to find the funny side in a situation, even if it's something that should be as mundane as mowing the lawn.

DeGeneres left the talk show scene in 2022 after allegations ran rampant about her running a toxic workplace, so when President Donald Trump was elected for a second term, it seemed the perfect time for the entertainer and her wife, Portia de Rossi, to look for greener pastures, namely in the U.K.
