The 'Avatar' star reacted to the news on her Instagram stories that the upcoming sequels have all been pushed back—including some by several years.

On Tuesday, Disney announced that all of the Avatar sequels have been delayed, some even by several years.

Avatar 3 is now set to release in December 2025, a full year after its original planned release, Avatar 4 has been pushed back three years to December 2029, and Avatar 5 has been delayed three years, as well, now set for a release of December 3031.

And while we did wait a lengthy 13 years for Avatar: Way of the Water, these recent delays due to the WGA writer's strike seem like an eternity.

Avatar star Zoe Saldaña took to Instagram to hilariously put the postponement in perspective.

She shared a post from @pubity about the delays to her IG stories and wrote:

"Great! I'm gonna be 53 when the last Avatar movie comes out."

At the bottom, the Guardians of the Galaxy star added:

“I was 27 when I shot the very first Avatar movie 🥸"

People on social media reacted similarly to the news.

Of course, some noted they think Saldaña will be alright.

Not to mention, she has some things lined up to keep her busy in the meantime with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and her upcoming role in Special Ops: Lioness for Paramount+ which will premiere on July 23.

We think she'll be alright, too.
