We're not supposed to make snap judgments of people. But there are some cases where someone is being a total dingus and we can afford to write them off immediately.


There is something about small moments with strangers or brand new acquaintances that give us what feels like a true and complete sense of their character. Even though we've yet to see the rest of the iceberg under the tip we were just exposed to, some stuff just screams entitlement.

So, with full conviction, we decide that--for that person--it's all over with, beginning immediately.
