People Break Down The Most Useless Talent They Possess

People Break Down The Most Useless Talent They Possess

I had a 4th grade classmate who would eat worms. You'd think that'd keep people away from him, but no. He was actually quite popular. His favorite way to introduce himself was by wiggling his ears. None of us could do it. Truth be told, it was quite fascinating, much in the way you'd expect fourth graders with no life experience to be fascinated.

After Redditor red_dit asked the online community, "What is a useless talent you have?" people shared with glee.

"I move extremely quietly..."

I move extremely quietly. Good for scaring the hell out of people, not good for trying to approach someone without them inevitably being startled when they turn around and see you.

marleydogdead

"I can cross one eye..."

I can cross one eye while they other stays straight.

victoriaphrodisia

"I can tie..."

I can tie a cherry stem in my mouth. I've never found a use for this.

frozen_hell66

"I did an escape room once..."

I can read backwards English perfectly. Like I'm fluent in it, because of some bs back when I was in kindergarten.

I did an escape room once, where all the text was backwards, and I was everyone's translator. That and because I'm the only one who knows Hindi, English and Spanish, the three languages they had text in.

DoAFlip22

"I can temporarily..."

I can temporarily stop my taste buds from working.

Kinda useful because I can eat whatever if I need to (if I had to be polite around some iffy cooking) and I can down whatever drink I have to.

ezzy111

"I don't know..."

I can blow bubbles with my "gleek" gland. The gland under my tongue. I don't know if that is unique or not.

taken_for_granite

"I can talk and sing..."

I can talk and sing with my mouth closed. I've taught myself to keep my lips still and only move my tongue and project my voice. I mean it's nothing special but it does cheer my sister up when I do it.

7ambo

"I can make..."

I can make that roaring sound in my ears or head by vibrating my eardrums. Apparently being able to do this is like a 50/50 thing and those of us who can didn't know other couldn't..

S3xySouthernB

"I can rap..."

I can rap really fast. Have done 38 syllables in 1.19 seconds (31.932 sps) tho I prefer to go way slower.

Ninbendo1234

"It's only good..."

I have perfect pitch hearing, so I can name the key of any song or note and replicate it. It's only good for singing and turning a guitar, and Im not a performer so it's kind of useless.

nightfire00

"This was actually..."

I can memorize words and meanings extremely fast. This was acrually insanely useful during vocab quizzes if I had to memorize 20 words and definitions. I can do it all in 5 min but then I will instantly forget it all by the next 2 days. Now that I don't have to do these vocab quizzes I have no use for memorizing things fast and forgetting them the next day.

Pikacardanycard

"I can make..."

I can make a mean paper plane.

CoolCoconuts44

"I can snap a coin..."

I can snap a coin like 10 meters with the precision of Legolas. Can be very effective to stop people talking in the cinema.

FrankJaegar2142

"I can lick..."

I can lick the end and inside of my nose.

BTQuint

"I'm amazing..."

I'm amazing at somehow always embarrassing myself, whether it's saying something stupid, having to readjust, or accidentally farting in public.

TheRandomQuestioner

"Memorizing..."

Memorizing an unnecessary amount of the digits of Pi. Most people just know the 3.14, but I've managed to recite over 400 digits before.

Spastic-Squirrel

"I can find..."

I can find a 4 leaf clover just about anywhere, without really looking. I just glance down sometimes and there it is. I stopped saving them eventually since there were so damned many.

TheWormwood

"I can burp..."

I can burp for a really long time. My personal best is 8 seconds.

wekn0w

"I can tie..."

I can tie my hair up without a hairband.

lonelyandy4

"I can look at a dog..."

I can look at a dog and know exactly what breed it is, whether it's a mutt or purebred or a weird uncommon breed.

Fox Host Slams Dem For Dropping An F-Bomb After Praising Trump For The Same Thing Just Minutes Earlier

Fox News host Emily Compagno was criticized after she praised Donald Trump's use of the "f-bomb" earlier this week before condemning Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett's use of the same word—on the same episode of her show, no less.

Trump made headlines this week after admonishing Israel and Iran for violating a ceasefire agreement he'd announced on Truth Social. Although he claimed the ceasefire had been "agreed upon," Iran fired at least six missile barrages at Israel after it was supposed to take effect.

State Department Slammed After Requiring Visa Applicants To Make All Social Media Posts Public For Vetting

The State Department is facing harsh criticism after it announced that anyone applying for an F, M, or J nonimmigrant visa will need to disclose all social media profiles from the last five years, requiring that all applicants set their posts to public so they can be properly vetted by its agents.

The agency said the new rules are part of a new screening process aimed at identifying individuals who may pose a threat to U.S. national security. According to the department, failure to comply could result in a denial, and consular officers have been instructed to flag signs of “hostility” toward the U.S.—though the criteria for such determinations remain vague.
